Satay Pak Ein, Simpang, Taiping

Amacam? Meleleh tak air liur?

As usual, Pak Ein got a big tender to prepare 4000 sticks of satay kat satu kenduri India. Dah dua kali diorang amik. Initially, diorang nak 5000 tapi Pak Ein kata tak mampu nak import satu kampung tolong bakar sate. (Kalo import John, sume masuk mulut dia je la jawabnyer...)

God gracious. 8 orang jugak la tolong bakar sate guna dua dapur. Dah la kipas turbo ada satu jer. Terpaksa pakai kipas biasa. Jenuh jugak la nak tunggu masak. While the rest preparing satay and kuah, aku jadi front liner. (Semua tanak, tatau nape.)

Rupa-rupanyaaaaaaaaa…pressure gile ok jadi front liner! Kitorang start bakar sate dari pukul 4 petang, kenduri nyer 7 petang. By 8pm, dua kotak penuh ice box tu dah abis! Aku bubuh kuah taruk atas sate jer. Tak sempat! Dah la muka sekor-sekor macam nak terkam aku sebab tak sabar tunggu sate masak! Siap ada yang repeat sampai 4-5 kali patu potong queue! Muka yang sama plak tu! Hahaha!

Bagi Pak Ein, the faster you finish the satay, the sooner kitorang bleh balik. By 9pm, satay dah abis. Siap gaduh-gaduh lagi ada yang tak sempat nak merasa. Nasib la…sape suh ko hadap kat kambing panggang dulu kan. Ni sate Pak Ein tau, jangan main-mainnnnn. Kahkahkah! (Tapi sumpah kambing ni sedap!)

Sumpah penat…dengan lagu tamil dun dam dun dam, kaki berdiri, tangan ceduk kuah, minda menahan pressure orang mintak sate.

MCKK Premier 7s 2012

Who would expect that I can fall in love with this sport? I mean, I don’t play rugby, obviously, but I found it enjoyable to watch this game than watching English premier. Hahaha!

It’s all started when I religiously watched All Blacks, before, during, and after I visited New Zealand. The Haka spirit has possessed and persuaded me to watch those huge triceps, biceps, and what not (don’t ever mention that big Upin Ipin head-sized buttocks! Hahaha!)

Clearly hubby has nothing to do and out of the blue, he asked me to pack our bag and said “We are going to KK.” I was like…”Huh?” “KK as in Kuale Kangsor…got inter-rugby school competition…” katanya.

STAR, his former school, joining and defending the Plate. But his top priority is, he wants to grab this chance to access the Malay College, also know as MCKK, or Koleq. Ala you know la, this “all boys boarding school type of spirit” ni, lain macam skit.

So we went back to Taiping, and went out early, on the next morning. (Cerita sate Pak Ein kat entry ni.) Since hubby has downloaded the schedule, we roughly know when STAR, MCKK, KE, and other top rugby school will play. Sekolah agama pun ada tau! Their motto is Pray, Study, Play Rugby. Amik gambar pakai jubah, songkok, kain pelikat! Bagus!

We killed time by visiting few places of interest in Kuala Kangsar. To name a few, Jambatan Raja Muda Nazrin, Tasek Raban, Masjid Ubudiah, Istana Kenangan, Istana Iskandariah, Old Mansion, Persisiran Sayong, and the town center.

Hubby made a super ridiculous joke when he said that this tree is the oldest rubber tree in Malaysia.

We happily took a picture, which later, while driving around town, we found that there is another signage directing to another place, where the actual rubber tree is located! Pfft!

“Let’s go to MCKK.”

Besides motocross event at the other side of the river, KK town was filled with MCKK PREMIER 7s 2012 buntings, banners, and billboards. Gile kaya…MACOBA (old boys) sponsor la ni. Dah la datang in Bentley, BMW, superbikes and such!

All Blacks Revival, so they are called…and guess what, everything was 90% similar to the original All Blacks. Bang…takde nama lain ker...?

We went to STAR tent and met the boys. Nice jersey! And nice bods! Sumpah besar budak-budak sekarang…paling tak bleh blah, body berkepak, perut flat, peha berketul! Bleh???

STAR won the first and second game, and currently waiting for the next round. Hubby sempat jugak la tanya pasal STAR kat bebudak tu. Sonok dia. Before we left for another tent, we congratulated them and wish the boys, best of luck.

There was one tent that projected those legends, and the most popular was Hj, Zainal Abidin Bin Mat Yen, a Perak born athlete, who used to be famous with his “side steps”, sampai omputeh pun kagum. While reading the facts on the display boards, there was one Malay uncle came to us and explained a bit on the games. We initially just smiled and continued reading, but hubby later said “Eh, tu bukan pakcik dalam gambar ni ke?”

I looked up to the uncle, and looked down to the board. I repeated the same gesture four times, until that uncle said “A ah, ye la tu, saya la yang dalam gambar tu.” And three of us laughed.

Watching STAR played with hundreds of Koleq around us was quite funny, coz we can’t cheer as loud as we wanted it to be, maklum la…musuh tradisi. But we was entertained with their cheering team, who lined up two games ahead, in their white pants and “let it be heard” school t-shirts. There was no pause at all, for the game was 7 a side and the game duration was only 7 minutes for both half. Unfortunately, STAR didn’t get to meet MCKK. Or else, they would have brought their cheering team as well. Lagi kelakar, both having slightly the same song! Hahaha!

STAR and MCKK, anyhow, through to the quarter final but only STAR through to the semi. By this time, I heard one of the Koleq boys said “Ala…referee saje je kasi STAROBEK menang.” Hahaha!

“IF MCKK lost, they got to meet STAR.” But MCKK lost to Yahya Petra, while STAR lost to SSTMI (also known as Sekolah Sukan Bandar Penawar). Gile ko! Sekolah sukan tu! Champion for last year in Cup category!

Since it was two days event, semi and final were actually on the second day. I clearly told the boys (STAR), “Dah tak masuk Cup, korang better menang Plate, kalo tak, akak tulis dalam blog!” Hahaha!

And they lost…BOLEH??? Dengan Semasyur.

MAKA AKAK NAK MARAH LA KORANG SKANG NI! PENAT AKAK BERPANAS SAMPAI HITAM MUKA, TANGAN, KORANG KALAH!!! DAH LA BAS KORANG PALING BURUK!!! TAK JADI NAK KASI SOUVENIR DARI NEW ZEALAND!!! Nah gambar old boy STAR yang tension...

Japanese Anime

As much as I love Japanese drama, I loveeeeeee anime. No, not superpower human like Dragonball or Bleach, not supercute alien like Doraemon or Pokemon, not superrobotic giant like Gundam or Fullmetal Alchemist, I like it when it comes with superridiculous hilarious and superdrama anime.

There are lots of anime that I like but these are some of those that quite old but I extremely love watched/watching them. You know, these kind of faces?

Ranma ½.

Omg…this is hilarious! It’s about a boy who is cursed to become a girl, whenever he is splashed with cold water. But hot water will change him back into a boy. Can you imagine that??? Hahaha! There’s a panda too. And this anime is all about martial arts.

Gokusen.

I first watched the drama episodes before I watched the anime. I found that drama was better than anime coz Yankumi was much more realistic and fun. It’s about a homeroom teacher, who secretly keeps her Yakuza background, struggling to gain respect of the class.

Onegai Teacher.

Though the teacher is a female alien, it’s not that type of outrageous and hideous alien. She’s a sexy alien. It’s about a high-school student who later married her teacher, in order to preserve her secret. This is where the fun and drama and kinky parts happen.

K-On!

They are so fun and funny! I love the comedy, and the way they acted. It’s about a set of teenage girls who obsess with music, saving the school music club from being disbanded due to lack of members.

History Channel (555) is currently airing Asia History and Malaya is included. The program was initially documented and expected to be premiered for 2 hours but it was edited to 1 hour. Do watch this program, for the interviewees are those who experienced the real battle, who’ve seen their own family members died in the hand of the land of the rising sun.

Hubby once told me that his grandfather was kidnapped from one small coffee shop, where he was enslaved and brought over to the northern area, to build the “Death Railway.” He was one of the sufferers who live and came back to his family, two months later. Can you imagine that? He wrote everything in his journal. Sadly, we couldn’t locate where the journal is!

And so I thought of revising my trip’s side objective, to carry out a short quick “mouth-to-ears” firsthand real life story with old folks, particularly on their war moment, during war time. How I wish I can produce this column. (If and only if, I can find one. I should have done this during my visit to Vietnam and Cambodia.)

Almost all of us woke up quite early but few of us still resting on the bed, mindless. Looking around, some were still underneath the blanket, some were staring at the wall/ceiling, some were looking at each other without saying any word, whilst the German guy, hoping still, to be one of the alien of the Alien Travelholic group. Hahaha!

While getting ready, Byya, our chosen group leader, passed the breakfast coupon to each of us. She told us to remove the bedsheet, pillow cover, and blanket, and dumped them into the laundry basket, outside the door. I find this quite funny, for I never do that before. Hahaha!

“I wonder who were you yesterday…so now, you are Stacy, is it?” Lily smiled, looking at my outfit for the day.

“Hahaha…semalam mekap tah ke mana, apa ke mana…” Everyone was in total mess, except for Amy, who unbelievably, managed to upkeep her eyeliner!

Before walked out from the dorm, all of us, (yup), ALL of us didn’t drop a single chance to snap pictures of that “bilik air macam almari”. Hahaha!

At the lobby area, we ordered our breakfast, according to the given menu. We can only choose 5 types of eggs and breads, so I opted for omelet, baked beans, toast, and mango juice. SUMPAH LAMBAT!

Despite the fact that we were in starvation, these crazy Aliens, didn’t stop taking pictures. MasMZ DIDN’T miss any single corner of BetelBox! Trust me! She even captured my breakfast! Hahaha!

We finished our breakfast and discussed on the next act. Lily, Byya, John, Janggel, MasZuber opted for Chinatown, while Chawana, Anash, hubby and I opted for Mustaffa Center. Only Amy had her own plan, to meet her friend at the end of the Joo Chiat Road.

While we decided to take two cabs to the Paya Lebar MRT station, the Chinatown clan walked! (Uih, tak larat kot nak jalan.) We changed station and stopped at Ferrer Park, and walked to Mustaffa Center.

On the road, we saw Hindu believers passing by, shoeless. “Owh…today Thaipusam kan…nasib baik takde wel-wel…” Luckily, there weren’t so many people around the area doing that “scary” thing.

Chawana, Icam and Anash quickly walked towards the souvenir section and grabbed whatever they need. Hubby and I went to the electronic section, for a pack of rechargeable battery. We then headed to the perfume section, and went crazy! I spent almost an hour, smelling EVERY bottles that I longing for. And they were SUPER CHEAP!

I picked two bottles of Paris Hilton and Guess while hubby gotten himself an Azzaro, his favorite perfume during college time.

Chawana then came and only God knows how she bumped into Salvatore Ferragamo! “There’s only one left!” she said. Oh my…I overlooked it!

We later met Lin and her cousin outside Mustaffa Center and her cousin led us to the bus station. Beforehand, we did a quick shopping at the souvenir shops, right in front of Mustaffa Center. They sell 5 FMs for $10 and 7 FMs for $10, according to the material. I only bought one USS FM since I forgot to get one, during my visit there. (Main sampai tak hengat nak beli…)

Anash then sms-ed the Chinatown clan to inform that we will be taking a direct bus to Larkin, from Queenspark. They replied and informed that they will be taking the same route (MRT and bus) like how we came yesterday.

“How far is the bus station?” We asked Lin and her cousin.

“Just behind the building.”

“Which building?” I prayed for the nearest building, which was 50 meters away.

15 minutes later.

Hell no!

“I think, we passed by this building before…right?” I was about to kill Lin.

“No lah…the shape looks the same…tapi lain…” Yet, she was right!

We finally reached the bus station and hopped on the bus.

And snoozed…

The only thing I remembered, we had to hop down for immigration check point, went back on the bus, continued catnap, and reached Larkin Sentral.

“Aaaaaaaa nak nasikkkkkkkkk!” We cried out loud for a plate of “rasa kampung”.

We chose one small resto and had our quick lunch, coz Chawana had to drive back to KL, since Chawan will be on the night shift. Meanwhile, Anash will be waiting the Chinatown clan at musholah, while hubby, Lin and I drove to Johor Premium Outlet (JPO).

“And where the hell is JPO???”

From Larkin to Kempas to Skudai, we took almost an hour to reach JPO! Thanks to Jasmine and Zan, who led us the way.

How? From Larkin, find the highway back to KL and take Senai exit. BEWARE! THERE ISN’T ANY JPO SIGNBOARD AT ALL! You will reach the Senai toll house. Pay and follow the Senai stretch. You will find yourself on a highway, still. THEN ONLY YOU’LL SEE THE JPO ON YOUR LEFT, with its small little signboard.

Nice…WHO DESIGNED THIS??? (And so I heard, PLUS highway actually disagrees with the deal. That is why we see no signboard earlier on.)

Since we will be working tomorrow, I didn’t waste my time to look for what I desired for. A wetsuit and a pair of Levis. I straight away walked into Roxy/Quicksilver and asked for a wetsuit…but I saw a question mark on her face. Pfft! Tak paham ke…”Baju surfing dik, ada?” “Owh…takde…”

Hubby told me that this is not Malaysian culture, so they might not supply it. True enough, as I can’t find it in KLCC or MidValley.

I tried my luck and went into Ripcurl.

“YES! THEY HAVE IT! This pattern, size 10.” Still, I thought I might fit it.

FOOK! KETAT! “Size 12 please?”

“Ini saje yang ada…” PFFTTT!!! Whyyyyyy?! Whyyyyyy?!

I walked out in disappointment and dissatisfaction. Dah la gemuk, takde pattern plak tu! Sob..sob…

I told myself, let’s get a pair of Levis.

Browsing through the rack, size 23, 24, 25…AND WHERE THE HELL IS SIZE 28??? No…mmm…29??? Okay! 30???

I heard the same statement “Ni je yang ada…”

I walked in pain…heartbreak…cursing the premium outlet…ignoring that I have actually saved few hundreds from it.

We decided to walk back to the car and I sms-ed Janggel, so that they will have a clearer picture on how to find this place. Tell you what…THEY JUST REACHED LARKIN SENTRAL! Crazy photo scammers! Hahaha! (I thought of Anash masa tu…apa la dia buat…)

Hubby drove all the way. We dropped Lin at Seri Kembangan, and went back home.

Overall, I found this trip as “awfully tiring but fabulously exciting”. At least, hubby and I have gone through another level, by given ourselves a chance, from being a “Couple Traveler”, to be one of the “Alien Traveler ^TM”. (Wahhhhh terus trademark tu!)

Earlier, MasZuber has called the hostel for direction and we were directed to take MRT to Outram (purple line), changed to yellow line and stopped at Paya Lebar station. With the thought of changing between lines made the feeling even worst.

I did none other than sat down on the train floor and took a nap. And I dragged MasZuber too. I finally stood up when the train quite full with locals. It was almost 10pm when we reached Paya Lebar station.

We had no idea where to head to. I tried to ask one of the convenient store workers but she seemed not to sure where the hostel is located. She advised us to check with the MRT officer. Lily then asked the officer and led us the way.

There was no sign or Geylang Serai at all. We crossed the road few times, headed to the left and right of the shophouses, which we finally found ourselves walking on an open field. It was super ultimatum till we forced ourselves to sing along the way.

“Oh goddddddd! We rejected Rucksack Inn for this mess?! Are we there yet? Where the hell is BetelBoxxxxxxxx!”

Dah jalan kengkang abis dah ni.

And you should not walk and talk when you are super exhausted. Even worst, when you walk and curse and sing and laugh. COMBO! Penat sial…

“Huh! Geylang Serai!” We turned left and walked towards one shophouses. Along the corridors, there were glimpse of “hayam” all over the places. Cool…this is what they called, a red light district! More ciken pleaseeeeeee :D

AND WE STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHERE BETELBOX IS!

Like they said, we walked more than a kilometer before we FINALLY stood right in front of BetelBox steel door.

“WE’VE MADE IT! F**KING MADE IT!” With sweaty armpits, loosen knees, heavy-eyed, discolored make-up (except Amy, I seriously don’t know how her make-up can sustain *tabik*), we climbed up the stairs. STAIRS??? Pfft!

A Chinese uncle came into the picture and led us into the dorm. We saw lockers before the beds. Only 4 beds were occupied and the rest were vacant. There was no energy left to pick whose which, the light has led each of us to walk to the bed that are destined for.

“No eating. No late bathing. No lights after midnight. No bising-bising ha…” The uncle briefed us. Ala…boring nyer…dah la my first hostel experience while travel. Nak la hu-ha gelak-gelak kan…

“Aku mandi dulu” I told the rest of Alien Travelers.

“What the…”

“Oh my god…”

“Huh?”

That was the reactions, the minute we saw the showers.

“MACAM MANDI DALAM ALMARI” Icam made a statement.

Hahahaha! SUMPAH KECIK! But Lily told us that shower in Greece even smaller than this. Ok then, not bad la this one, so I took a bath and changed to my sleeping suit.

I chose the upper bed coz the lower bed already taken by an Asian lady, who made the bed like her own private mini room. With two big luggages, batik curtain, stack of clothes, I bet she wanna stay there forever. And she didn’t smile at us AT ALL, bleh?

The rest took bath after another. Some were already on bed. Unexpectedly, a Caucasian guy checked in, and started a conversation with all of us. But only Lily and MasZuber replied. Hahaha! He’s from Germany, stopped by at Singapore for Visa, before he flew to Taiwan.

“So you are not going to Malaysia?” Asked Lily.

“No…” Looking around, with a can of Coke in hand.

Silent.

“Why?! We are nice people. Don’t you want to visit our country?” Asked Lily, with exclamation mark.

“Err…ok, maybe next time.” Looking down. HE WAS PRESSURED BY LILY I TELL YOUUU! HAHAHA!

The uncle came back and out of the blue, he appointed Byya as the team leader (he actually pointed to Byya you know) to collect everyone’s passport. It was a policy to register each and everyone into the log book, like India. But India was harder coz we had to write down on our own!

We told lily to tell the uncle to increase the aircond speed.

“Duìbùqǐ, nǐ néng bùnéng jiākuài zēngjiā de aircond de ma? Xièxiè.”

SHE FLUENTLY INSTRUCTED THE UNCLE IN MANDARIN! I was so amazed…15 years of learning man…fiuh!

It didn’t stop there! There was another Caucasian guy from Portugal, sat next to that German. Lily interviewed her and found that he can speak a bit of Mandarin. AND THEY BOTH SPOKE IN MANDARIN! *Lap peluh*

We then chatted and laughed quietly when Na put on her telekung, sat on the bed, waiting for Anash to settle her prayer. “Dah rasa macam rombongan haji kat Mekah…” kata John. Hahaha!

Hubby and Icam dozed off earlier than the rest, followed by some of us. Another Asian lady came back and straight away slept on the bed, huk pun tidak, hek pun tidak. Sombong tul! Muka cina tongsam tak mandi plak tu!

I have no idea what happened next. The day after, I just got to know that some of us had photo preview outside the dorm. Dang…

We started the excitement by entering the Hollywood section, where we met Charlie Chaplin. Suddenly, I became the central of attention when Charlie Chaplin hold my hand and started kissing his hand! Hahaha! Malu okeh! All eyes on me, so I played Marylin Monroe and started to "gedik". Click here for the video of Chaplin and me.

Next was “Lights! Camera! Action!”, a show that hosted by Steven Spielberg, on how they created a thunder scene. This was the place where bursting fire met waving water with strong wind and loud noise. Everything was expected, but not the pounding stage where we stood on. Everyone SHOUTED for that segment.

Looking at the number of visitors and the queing time, we decided to ride ONLY the recommended rides. At this point of time, we suffered big time. Our legs started to feel the body weight. With strong will, we straighten our mind to carry on with the exploration.

“That’s Marylin Monroe.” I pointed to none other than any famous faces in Hollywood while walking towards the Sci Fi City.

At Sci Fi City, we chose to ride “Transformers The Ride : The Ultimate 3D Battle.” The queue time for a group ride was 30 minutes, so Lily suggested everyone to opt for single rider. Though we were separated, it was a brilliant idea, for it was faster, and no doubt, we had the same fun from the ride. (Yes, it is a must-try ride!)

“Best gile! Icam duduk depan!” He told us and requested for a repeat, to show that he’s cool…hahaha!

At the same section, there is an extreme ride, “Battlestar Galactica : Cyclon”, the most tallest pair of dueling coasters. We skipped this ride since it seemed too unbearable, at first. Well, apalah sangat nak compare to Movieworld and Dreamworld kat GC tu kan…(chewah!)

So we proceed to the next section that was Ancient Egypt. The minute we heard that “Revenge Of The Mummy” is a must-try ride, without any hesitation, we decided to try. Beforehand, we took a group picture with two guys in Egyptian costume, who’d constantly frightened the visitors.

“Let’s frightened them back!”

We waited for our turn and acted wild with them. And we turned out to be the last group of the morning photo session. Hahaha!

All of us except Amy and Byya, go for the ride. Good for them, for they didn’t have to queue for 45 minutes! Bad for them, for the ride was superb! It was dark in there and we had no clue where the coaster will go. It was pretty similar to Scooby Doo ride in GC, but Scooby Doo was scarier. The goal was to look for the gold manuscript, but the ride was too fast and crazy, so I overlooked it. Hahaha!

It was hot sunny day. We were awfully worn-out, due to the bus ride and the queuing time. We sat next to the entrance and had tidbits, but later been shoved away by the caretaker. Demyuh!

We then moved to The Lost World, to try the “Jurassic Park Rapid Adventure.” Clearly it is a must-try ride, for the queing time was 110 minutes! That’s f**king 2 hours!

Icam suddenly said that “Waterworld” show will start at 2pm. Only God knows why he saw it as 2pm, when the show is scheduled to start at 3pm! Hahaha!

So we walked to the Far Far Away and had a session with Shrek and Fiona. In this section, we tried one non-famous ride called “Enchanted Airways”, for the queing time was only 10 minutes. The pleasure was there coz all of us, except Lily, Amy and Byya, went for the ride. It was actually a kid ride, similar to Flying Dragon at Genting, but who cares! We had fun!

We thought of entering “Shrek 4-D Adventure” but again, the queue was superrrrrrrrrrrrr long! Half of us started to queue but they called it off when I told them I had experienced it at GC, so it should be the same. It wasn’t my fault, blame the queue ya :D

We lingered in front of the castle and suddenly we heard one familiar song. “It’s Shrek’s song!” A song by Smash Mouth.

“Hey now you're an All Star, get your game on - go play
Hey now you're a Rock Star, get the show on - get paid
And all that glitters is gold
Only shooting stars break the mold”

We sang along the song and started to do stupid things. A flashmob of headbanging, rockstar acting, and hands up in the air. To add the fun, we got it recorded! (Can’t wait for the video to be out!) Click here for the video part 1 and part 2.

Before we proceed for “Waterworld” show, we entered the Madagascar section but none of the rides we tried.

We then proceed to “Goldilocks” where we had crispy chicken for SGD10 for two.

“Any drinks?” Asked the cashier.

“No thanks.” I answered.

“But it comes with drink.” She replied.

“Owh ok…sprite please.” MALU CIK RO! Hey, the picture only showed two pieces of chicken je tau! Where I know…hahaha!

“Wehhhh Shahrule!” He finally found us. He brought other two friends along, as young as him.

We told him that we are going for “Waterworld” show and he asked us to sit at the blue row. BEST katanya. So we walked and entered the half-covered auditorium, and saw blue, green and brown seats. At first, I wanted to sit at the blue row, as per advised by Shahrule. Hell nooooooooo when I saw it stated “soak” area. Hahaha! Demyuh!

Half of us sat at the brown row, while the other half sat at the green row. Not far from us, I saw Janggel, Lily, MasMZ and Byya already put on their ponchos. Owh my…this could be fun! We’ll see!

Without doubt, the show was totally electrifying. They sub-divided the spectators into three sections and did the battle, by shouting along with the actors. In the interim, those who sat on the blue and green rows were sprayed with waterguns and splashed with pails. Hahaha! Thank god, we sat at the brown row.

The show was packed with extreme actions, full with blasting drums, fireworks, jet ski splattering the audiences, free fall, flying foxes, and what not. It was a great show though.

Once finished, we quickly returned back to the The Lost World, to check on the queing time for “Jurassic Park Rapid Adventure.” Shiat! Still 100 and 20 minutes! We discussed and agreed to join the crowd, since we had nothing to lose. This is a must-try ride, so we better queue hingga ke titisan darah yang terakhir.

Again, Lily, Byya and Amy didn’t proceed. They would rather do the shopping than join these crazy riders. The queue was SUPER DUPER RIDICULOUS ULTIMATUM LONG! As extensive as the longest Anaconda in Amazon! It was in zig-zag formation and we could bump into each other’s dead beat face! Oh my…I couldn’t say anything good about this feeling. Rasa nak mencarut tahap T-Rex!

I kept on asking Janggel on how far the queue would go, to reach the ride. He told us that we need to be in the other side of the hall, “See, that yellow thingy, over there.” Again, I felt like killing him, but the with same excuse, he’s too cute to be killed.

Na and Chawan later dropped the call and went out. They left Icam with us. 20 minutes later, hubby did the same call. LOSER! Hahaha! (Marah ni…) But they were replaced with Shahrule and the gang, who later came in and cut the queue. (This was the best part!)

We undenied Shahrule and the gang and let them queue in between us, BUT NOT AN UNCLE and his family who queued behind us. He started to complain, not only to his family, moreover, he poisoned someone behind his family to kutuk us as well! Hahaha! Sorry la uncle, they are with us.

John and I later queued by laid down on this hard surface, and that was ONLY half way of the queue! Shahrule, once in a while, forced us to keep on moving, whenever he saw that uncle’s face turned red. That uncle didn’t want to drop it! So we talked among us and made fun of the family, and decided to let them ride before us.

Hell no! Hahaha!

One and half hour later, we reached the other hall, where we saw two vending machines that sell ponchos. To divert our frustration towards the queue, we eagerly took out ours and put it on. Now we really looked like alien, coz unlike others, ours were so colorful!

And that uncle got so jelous and asked his daughter to buy for the family! Hahaha!

“Almost there! Almost there! Oh my goddddd!” We touched the railing and almost kissed the signboard!

“Weh, we have to separate into two groups coz one boat can only furnish 9 people.”

“But DON’T EVER take a ride with that uncle!” We laughed out loud! Coz Shahrule and the gang were right before the family. There were 6 of them. Cukup-cukup 9 orang.

Lucky them, Anash joined the gang. So that made 4 of them. They quickly told the caretaker and separated themselves out. Fiuhhh! Janggel, John, Icam, MasMZ, MasZuber, Lin and I were on the boat with another young couple. We had issue at first, coz all of us (except me), unable to buckle up, due to our backpacks. And the boat was on the slow-move! Agak panic disitu but we managed to fasten the seatbelt.

Since Janggel has tried the ride, he gave us few clues on what we going to undergo. The couple was quite sporting and enjoyed the ride with us. (The girl kept on asking what’s next, what’s next, and the guy asked her to just wait and see. Hahaha!)

The ride was similar to what I have tried in GC, again. The dizziness was there, I tell youuuuu! The fun started when we tried to escape from the splashes and sprays. Anyway, Janggel didn’t survive the splash and he wetted his hair, pants and bag! But he was the ONLY person who got CLEARLY captured (camwhoring lagi) in the T-Rex camera, during the water lifting! The rest were facing down! Hahaha!

It was a 10-minutes ride. AND THE QUEUE WAS 2 HOURS LONG! But we ended the ride with gelak tawa kat Shahrule and the gang, SEBAB BASAH GILE! Hahaha! (Finally, Shahrule’s friend got to experience this ride, on his 3^rd visit to USS! Ko mampu?)

On the way back to the main entrance, Sharule and the gang PERSUADED us, to ride the “Battlestar Galactica : Cyclon”, THOUGH they have tried it 2 times, both blue and red lines! I told them that no one will look after the backpacks and pity Icam to sit there alone (lame excuses!) But seeing Anash and Janggel accepted the invite, with their “whitish” faces (toreh muka pun tak keluar darah), I felt offended. (Chewah!)

“I rode the fastest, the tallest, and the longest, in GC. Apa la sangat…” I tried to be cool like Icam. (But Icam didn’t dare to ride pun.)

Since the blue line in dangling mode, we chose the red line since it’s in sitting mode. While queing, Janggel, Anash and I, started to chicken out. I swear, we were SOOOO scared! And the queing time was like 10 MINUTES!!! WHYYYY??? WHYYYYYYY???

It was our turn to ride. Shahrul and the gang queued at the first row. Crazy youngsters! Lin, MasMZ and MasZuber on the third row, while Janggel, Anash and I, were at the forth row. ONLY GOD KNOWS WHY THE SECOND ROW WAS VACANT! So we, the chicken out team, were FORCED to be at the second row! I wanted to slap Shahrule’s face right there and then, but he too, to cute to be slapped on!

We prayed hard and harder, especially Janggel, who got to seat at the most end. Right after the car pecut macam haram, KITORANG JERIT TAK BENTI! Sumpah laju! But…I started to go with the flow and played heroic! It wasn’t that fast, compared to Superman ride in GC!

“We survived! Hell yeahhhh!” (And yet, Shahrule asked for another blue ride, bleh??? Ko gile ke hape nok?)

It was nearly 7pm and the rest of the Alien Travelers were already in Vivo City. While walking back to the exit, John requested for another repeat of “Revenge Of The Mummy”. I then, offered Icam another repeat of “Transformers The Ride : The Ultimate 3D Battle.” They settled the rides, while Anash and I waited outside, and mengumpat our lady bosses! Hahaha!

I finally got to meet hubby at the exit area, picked up our bazooka bags ($10 per day for a f**king small locker) and all of us went out and took final pictures of The Globe. After a train ride back to Vivo City, We handed Icam back to Chawana and asked him whether he would repeat the visit or not, and he just smiled in his weary face. Hahaha! Amik kooooo!

We had dinner at the same food court and by this time, we were all WORN OUT, and figured out how the hell we should locate the BetelBox Hostel!

Universal Studios Singapore : How We Start The Trip

“Please print your e-ticket!” I reminded everyone. Lucky Lin reminded me to print the correct one, she even sticked a yellow note on my lappy bag. Otherwise, I would have forgotten about it.

Earlier on, we agreed to meet at Seremban RnR at 10.30pm, but after some dialogue at Satay Station, The Alien Travelers later decided to meet at 11.30pm.

Chawana came to my house and we had some char kuey teow before Lin turned up. We then drove towards the Seremban Highway and right before we reached the Seremban RnR, MasZuber called me and told that they have missed the check point. They stopped over at Senawang, while I smsed the rest, on the new check point.

Upon arrival, I called MasZuber, to check on her location. We drove towards her car and met at the first time, alongwith, Amy and Byya. I couldn’t believe my eyes that they are super cute and friendly. The momentum went well, thanks to the everyday cyber comments.

It was five past midnight, and John and the rest still on the go. “We are on the rollercoaster now…” I smsed Janggel. “Oh, we are on merry-go-round then.” He replied. Hahaha! Demyuh!

As expected, the Four Red Musketeers reached the check point and the scene absolutely changed. They were so phenomenal! Lily brought cupcakes and maruku for each car, as promised. That made my cappuchino almond cake left untouched. Hahaha! (But Byya did taste a couple, she was hungry when we met, pity her.)

After little camwhoring session, we started our journey, to Melaka. That was the second check point, where we could actually save Anash from cleaning the dishes. Beforehand, I called her and clearly she spoke to me, unconsciously. A sign for us to come and save her, like…now, now, now!

John speed up while the rest waited at the Air Keroh RnR. For a 10 kilometers inskirt area, he was quite fast. We then had late supper and for no reason, we ended up chatting like there’s no tomorrow. It was f**king 2am and we were 300 kilometers away from the third check point!

2 cars changed drivers while the other 2 were’nt. I took one and half cans of Livita to recharge, and I got hallucinated. Once in a while, I saw MasZuber drove almost on the emergency lane, so I called Byya, to keep on talking to her. Owh no wonder…MasZuber was on Livita too. She might get delusioned as well. Hahaha!

We frequently overtook each other to kill the sleepiness (someone over-overtook us before the RnR exit, and luckily she understood when I high-ed beam her, hahaha!) We then stopped for a quick refresh at one of the gas stations before we proceed further. Later on, we found ourselves drove into one hell of expensive parking, next to Larkin Sentral. John quickly led the others out, to another RM5-per-day-cheap-parking area, which we told Icam, he has reached Singapore, and the Larkin Sentral is USS. Hahaha! He didn’t fall for that.

All sleepyheads walked towards the building and went for Subuh. Everyone then changed to country-name t-shirts, for that was the theme for the trip.

We then headed downstairs and queued for bus no. 170. Though we know there is a direct bus and it is quicker option to enter Singapore, we played “millionaire kids who went the hard way” game. Pfft!

It WAS hard.

Half of us had to stand all the way to the check point (CIQ). Squeezing ourselves with those who were rushing off for work wasn’t a good idea. What happened was, right after we passed the immigration check point, we walked gently down the escalator, passing by a superrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr 100 meter long queue, WITHOUT noticing that we SHOULD be in that queue! Nice…

But we had fun cursing ourselves while cutting the line. Hahaha!

Again, we had to stand all the way to Woodlands. *Peace* While crossing the sea, Lily showed us where she used to accomplish that walk-a-thon via the old bridge. With carbons and sweats, I considered that as a must-try for everyone.

At Woodlands, we hopped off and queued for another immigration check point. This time, we saw Icam already chickened out. He was on his own, surrendering himself to be screened, for the first time. He was requested to flash his IC, must be the coat that he was wearing in the “passport” pic. Kihkihkih! Oh ya, hubby too!

Icam passed through with a smile on his face. AND WE CHEERED UP FOR HIM. And for Chawan too. Hahaha!

Again, we had to queue, and still, we stick to the same bus. Not to mention, we had to stand. *Yada, yada, yada* Until we reached Kranji. From there, we took MRT to Vivo City. It was the longest train ever…at this point of time, I can’t stand any longer, so Anash and I, sat down on the floor, on my cheap bazooka bag! We were so cute! Hahaha!

While taking our breakfast, everyone was complaining on the craziness that we’ve endured, but sticking with each other, totally priceless. At this moment, I felt like killing Janggel for pushing my energy to the max (coz he led the team) but he’s too cute to be killed. So I saved him. Coz I bet, Icam had the idea too. Hahaha!

“HOI! Why so many people?” We started to panic once we saw hundreds of people queing for the Sentosa train.

“Singapore tak cuti kan? And who are these people?!” We cursed even harder.

“They are Malaysians!”

We tried to ignore the shityness and prepared for the first glance of USS from the above. “FINALLY!” We shouted.

Without prolong the stay, we quickly walked towards the famous USS Globe and click, click, click! Regardless who stood around us, we put aside the overtiredness, and captured the Globe, with the most expensive A4 paper I ever had! (Now I wonder…who has the complete Alien Travelers in a pic?)

Remember this post? The day that we called "Blackout Day!", where we posted the same entry at the same day and at the same time. This is our HISTORY.

This was what came out from the day after, where 14+3 of us (some were not in the picture) made another HISTORY.

Me - Thanks to myself for being so "unsangkarable" that I made this happen. Different country t-shirts theme was a bomb!

Hubby - Thanks for driving all the way back (but I drove the day before). I love you.

Na - Thanks for your sacrifice. I know Aqilah loves you like I do. (Kasut dia tak muat ada sebab tu.)

Visa For Japan : The Submission & Collection

So all documents are prepared and completed? (Click here for Visa For Japan : The Application). It's time for you to submit to Japan Embassy.

1) The Venue.

What to do.

Go to Japan Embassy in Malaysia. (Don't go to Japan Embassy in Uganda pulak!) It is located at No.11, Persiaran Stonor, Off Jalan Tun Razak, 50450 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

What I did.

Uncle Google? Nope! This time hubby maaaa. Hehe! It is quite easy to find Persiaran Stonor coz it is located somewhere nearby Jalan Tun Razak. How to know? Got Japan flag in front of it. You can park the car on the roadside. We both went to submit the applications, just to experience the security over the embassy.

What is the trick.

No trick. Either you or one of the submitting applicants need to be present. If there isn't any parking space for you, "make" one. Others will follow.

2) The Time.

What to do.

The official operating hours are as below:
Chancellery ： Mon-Fri 8：30-12：30／13：30-17：15
Consular Section & Japan Information Service (JIS) ：Mon-Fri 8：30-12：00／14：00-16：00
What I did.

We are so lucky since Chawana has experienced the whole process. They told us that the embassy is closed during lunch time and they won't allow you to wait inside. So we went there at 1.30pm, waited in the car, and started to walk to the guard house around 1.50pm.

What is the trick.

Regardless morning or afternoon session, it will be the same. It is a first-come-first-serve service basis. Try to walk as fast as you can and overtake whoever in front of you, to greet the guard. We managed to get the pass before 2.00pm, coz the guard said "it's ok".

3) The Queue.

What to do.

You need to press the button on the queue monitoring system, and wait. There are only 3 counters for Visa applications and 1 counter for Visa collection.

What I did.

There is two buttons. I quickly press the button for Visa application, and sit down. There are 8 applicants before me. All counters are closed with blind. I could see there are officers behind two of the counters, but they just waited there. I suspected, they will only start work at 2.00pm sharp. And it was true enough, they opened the blind at 2.00pm, and the number started counting. And it was fast!
What is the trick.

From the guard house, you have to pass through the lawn, to reach the office lobby. ~~Walk~~ Run! Do not hesitate to press which button, it is clearly stated there. Though the queue quite long, each applicants might take only 5 minutes to complete.

4) The Process.

What to do.

When your number is called, walk to the counter, hand in all documents (in sequence), and smile.

What I did.

That's what I really did. I smiled and showed my interest, just like what I did at USA Embassy. But this time, the officer is a Malay guy. The other counters are Chinese and Malay girls. (Where's Nihonji?) He asked few questions, ie: Is this my first time, How many days I will be there, etc. Very quick one. Then he said, "This is your number? Ok. If there is a problem, we will call you. Or else, please pick up the passport on the said date and time." It was the next 2 days! (Please don't call, please don't call!) Hahaha!

What is the trick.

Make sure your documents are COMPLETE! The officer will screen through and re-arrange as he wish. Pray for not receive any calls from Embassy (meaning, you might be call for more supporting documents or interview).

5) The Collection.

What to do.

Be there on the said date and time. Do not tend to postpone it. The collection counter require you to queue.

What I did.

Hubby went alone, for the officer told us that anyone can come and collect the Passport. There wasn't any vacant parking left, so he created one. Haha! It was super fast, like less than 5 minutes.

What is the trick.

Don't bring your group members/wife/husband/kids/parents/villagers along. Go alone and straight away queue! Do not sit around and wait until more and more people cut the line. It should be a quick one, so don't waste time and go back to work!

Visa For Japan : The Application

Our Visa for Japan is approved! Clearly, not all applications gone through the same. You might be tired of asking people (like me) on how this and that, and what not. So, I am sharing with you guys on how I got my Visa, hoping that you guys have a better view in getting yours.

1) Bank Statement.

What you need.

First, you have to prepare an amount of money in your bank. The reason being is to get it projected in your balance, for you to print and get it certified by the bank itself. There is no exact amount that stated in the application but most of the applicants will prepare, in the range of RM7,000.00 to RM10,000.00 in their saving account.

What I did.

Chawana told us that she prepared the bank statements for both, husband and wife, but the officer took only the husband's statement. To be exact, the officer took the least balance of the statement (though both of them put in lots of cash). Tricky huh? The officer purposely took the least, so that he could jeopardize the chances for the Visa to be approved. And so we (hubby and I) planned, to pump in RM10,000.00 each in our account, so that the officer couldn't choose! Hahaha! And guess what? He couldn't make up his mind, so he took both statements! Gotcha!

What is the trick.

If you are rich enough to have cash in hand (bukan saya), you have no problem to do this. Or else, borrow from Ah Long/Ceti/family/bff/WIFE, pump in the money (via M2U or walk in), print the statement (only the main page with your name, account number, balance), get it certified there and then, cash out the money, and voila! Repeat the same process for other applicants that are applying with you (rotate the money). DO NOT print out the transaction ok? And it took at most 5 minutes to get it certified (Maybank). Btw, ASB MIGHT not acceptable. So pepandai la transfer ye.

2) Picture.

What you need.

Second, you have to prepare 1 piece of passport picture, with white background, in the size of 2" X 2". Ordinary passport picture is not acceptable.

What I did.

Since I have experienced in applying USA Visa, I know how the picture should be like. At first, I thought of using the same picture, but wasting RM15 for new picture is a must thing to do. Hahaha!

What is the trick.

If you already have it, use it! You going to repeat the same thing. For free hair like me, I am requested to show both of my ears. If your ears are not visible, put some tissue behind it to push it out. That's what happen if you have smaller ears or telinga kemek sebelah! Pfft! (Telinga cacat!) And smile without showing your teeth ha!

3) Employment Letter.

What you need.

Third, you have to get your confirmation of employment from your company. This is to ensure that you are employed, have a good job back in your country, and assurance of coming back to Malaysia.

What I did.
It's quite easy for me, for MNC status company has a template for Visa application-confirmation-letter. You just need to tell them the date, reason of traveling, and the embassy address.

What is the trick.

The simplest letter that you could acquire from your company is to put in that you are an employee of the company, with start date and post, and attention to whom it may concern. Period.

4) Itinerary.

What you need.

Forth, you have to have plan for your itinerary. The standard format is downloadable from the website. They want to know where you will be going regardless if it's genuine or not.

What I did.
I did nothing. We copied some from Chawana (muah!) and hubby added in few details. Well, they wouldn't know whether you are going but don't put too much of Osaka la when you are landing at Tokyo kan.

What is the trick.

Ask Google. Copy out from others (your friends) or travel agency websites. Put as simplest and clearest as you can, ie : Day 1 - Seightseeing Tokyo, and stay in Hotel Wasukamurah. Hahaha! Too many places and too details might get you into trouble.

5) Application Form.

What you need.

All applications should have application form, regardless any type of application you are applying. So fill it in, and make sure it is written in black ink. Please be aware that Visa is valid for 3 months, so DON'T apply too early.

What I did.

I fill it in lah. Those fill that you don't know, ask around. But it is mostly, comprehendo.

What is the trick.

Download the sample and follow accordingly. The most valuable information that they want to see is your hotel name, contact no., and address. G to the O to the GGLE. Hotel Wasukamurah maybe? And of course, the departure date and aircraft details.

6) Marriage Cert.

What you need.

If you are married, regardless with kids or not, you have to prepare the marriage cert. Make a copy for both, husband and wife, coz you are submitting it individually.

What I did.

We just took whatever balance of copies that we have, when we applied for EPF withdrawal. Unlike Chawana who has Aqilah and the officer just have a look on their marriage cert, the officer took ours. Hmm...maybe Aqilah is bigger than the marriage cert. (We should have brought Aqilah along kan?)

What is the trick.

Get married la for you to have the cert. Hahaha! And DON'T LOSE it!

Ok, enough about them. I was actually googl-ing about Cat Island a.k.a Tashirojima in Japan. It started when hubby posted an entry about it before, but I keep on telling myself, never once, to peep on this island images. I wanted to be surprise when I am there.

The curiosity to know how many cats are there in the island, “keterujaan” nak tau size dan warna bulu kucing-kucing tu, I’m pretty sure I can’t handle it anymore. So I came into this and this post where it tells you the whole story, photographically.

Here are some facts about this island.

- The only way to get here is via ferry ride.

- This island inhabited by more cats than people.

- Approximately 100 residents live in this island, between 60-70 years of age.

- Some buildings are built in shape of cat.

- This island survived from quake and Tsunami.

- Dogs are totally prohibited in this island.

Big, fat, and healthy. For cat lovers, it’s heaven. For Na? I’m pretty sure she’ll run for her life if she sees more than 10 cats approaching and encircling her. Hahaha!

HE COULD HAVE WON WHEN HE BROKE DJOKO'S SERVICE AT 4-2! I was expecting him to smack his racket or cried on stage, but knowing Nadal, he has not gone up to that limit. If Federer, kompom nangis dah.

The only thing that I don't like when Djoko is winning, DIA BERLAGAK! He always like that. UDAH GHUPE LIN DAN PUN ADE! Eiiiii...Federer or Nadal won't ever do that tau! (Btw, bila dia tukar baju hitam je dia menang set tu! Hmmm...sebab Nadal tak tukar baju la ni. Patu satu lagi, dia asik cium rantai cross dia. Nadal tak mintak kat tuhan dia kot...hahaha!) And agak pelik bila Nadal tak bleh kalahkan Djoko, Djoko tak bleh kalahkan Federer, Federer tak bleh kalahkan Nadal. So sape yang paling terer sebenarnya ni? Hahaha!

Apa Dalam Besen?

Alhamdulillah...berkat doa kepada Allah yang tak putus-putus, penyakit Kiki dah baik. Siap call balik Doctor T, bagitau Kiki dah sihat. Doctor siap kenal, oooo yang garang tu. Hahaha! Masa balik dari Vet, Kiki masih half conscious, so dia sangkut je hidung dia kat carrier tu...hahaha! Senang tul, tak buas. Tapi dia tak kenal aku sangat masa ni...

Tiap-tiap hari kena makan ubat. Dah la doctor kasi ubat tablet dengan pil, jenuh jugak la nak sumbat dalam makanan basah dia. Memula dia tak prasan, maklum la, 4 tahun dok makan biskut, ni hari-hari dapat makan ikan dalam tin, terus telan. Tapi lama-lama dia dah tau ada ubat, dia usaha tanak telan. Aku ngangakan mulut dia, ha telan! Telan!

Skarangggggg...haih...dah datang balik la prangai harian dia. Penyibuk! Orang datang, dia jengok kat tingkap. Orang masak, dia nak tengok. Ni dah duduk dalam besen plak! Dia ingat aku tatau dia buat apa kat dapur tu!

Saya PUN Ada Kasut Baru

Apa? Ingat Icam jer ke bleh ada kasut baru? KAK BIQQUE PUN ADA TAUUUUUU...

Korang penah shopping kat Summit USJ? Haaaaa...sana, semua ada tauuuu. Sebut je nak apa, baju, kasut, Giant, tempat makan, wayang, parking pun murah. Paling best, takde orang!

Ni sume penangan nak short trip ke ***, abih sume beli seluar baru, baju baru, kasut baru. Yang guna lens baru pun adeeeeee!

Lantas aku pun tak nak kalah, cari jugak sepasang kasut baru buat belasahan kat sana nanti. Seperti biasa, setiap trip, aku ada tema. Nak jadi askar ke, anak patung ke, orang salji ke, cina tok pek kong ke, this time, aku pilih untuk jadi Stacy. Hahaha! Memandangkan aku dah tua, aku nak berjiwa muda lah kali ni, sempena mengingatkan kembali zaman-zaman kasut hi-cut waktu lepak kat Yik Foong, Ipoh. Sama la jugak masa lepak kat atas Larut Matang, Tepen. Uih, kalo korang tak tau zaman tu, memang kurang la garam korang penah rasa ye dak?

Dari Converse ke Adidas sampai la akhirnya aku pilih Nike jer. Kaler? Jangan tak caya, aku pun tatau aku brani ke tak nanti!

Tapi tak se-"power" kasut Icam laaaaaaa, itu sudah pasti! Aku tatau la kasut ni aku akan pakai lagi ke tak untuk trip-trip lain sebab slalunya aku akan bertukar menjadi Cik Ro. Maka dengan gigih aku ketepikan semua nasik berlauk, dan buat salad je kat rumah! Sebab nanti tanak lawan perut dengan Icam! Wahhhh!

The best to describe yesterday's match where Fed lost to Nadal, 7-6, 2-6, 6-7, 4-6, at Rod Laver Arena. Enuff said, Fed, again, failed to stand proud in front of his idol. Sob, sob...

BUT, it seems like I have no issue at all, coz both, Fed and Nadal, ARE my choice of boys. Though Fed, the 16-time Grand Slam champion lost to Nadal, the 10-time Grand Slam champion, he is still voted as the greatest player EVER.

Their head-to-head is now, 8-2, and Nadal still a puzzle that Fed can't resolve. I can see the difference when Fed played his tennis over Nadal, and vice versa. Fed can easily turn down his opponent with aces, while Nadal never fail to shout "vamos" everytime he does his "banana" ball. But when they played each other, they didn't do this, for they respect each others so much.

It was sad to see Fed walked out from the court and not through to the Final, knowing that he CAN beat Djoko. My faith for Nadal isn't that strong, as he has issue playing over someone is taller than him. But playing under pressure is just Nadal's way of tennis, so I REALLY hope that he can beat the Serb.

Misi Jelajah Seremban, Pedas, Rembau, Nilai

Best gile kot jalan-jalan masa Gong Xi Fa Chai! Kitorang memang dah plan nak jelajah Rembau ni since start cuti Raya Cina. Sebabnyer, memang dah tau, takkan jem nyer. Which is true, kitorang guna highway LEKAS (melalui Balakong), terus sampai ke Seremban.

Cuaca agak mendung, tapi tak hujan, so awan tak biru la. Dalam tak banyak kereta tu, ada jugak yang accident. Terbabas teruk jugak la.

Agak tak paham jugak kenapa orang tak guna highway ni. Instead of, orang akan guna highway KL-Seremban yang dah sah-sah jem gile tu. Tapi untuk orang dari Shah Alam, nak datang ke arah Balakong tu memang kirim salam la kot kan.

Kurang dari sejam, dah nampak signboard sempadan. Sumpah dekat! Rasa macam eh, dah sampai Negeri Sembilan?

Masa drive kat highway ni, banyak yang kitorang sembangkan. Teringat masa road trip South Island, New Zealand. Rindu betul nak drive kat sana. Kat sana, banyak kambing biri-biri. Sini, apa pun tadak. Lalu je kawasan Nilai ni, masyaAllah, bau taik ayam kuat gile!

Kitorang benti kejap kat satu hentian minangkabau besi ni utk solat. Tak ramai orang pun so best la tak perlu nak rebut-rebut dengan orang nak masuk toilet. Rasa macam kat tempat asing sungguh masa ni.

Sampai kat town Seremban pun masih terkejut, sebab tak jem. Kalo hari biasa ni, huh beratur! Nampak kedai cendol yang popular, tapi tak benti. Ingatkan nak cari kedai Leman Dawi tu, tah la kat mana hala, kena cari dulu.

Ada satu main road ni tutup sempena rumah terbuka Gong Xi Fa Chai, so kitorang terpaksa pusing satu lake garden tu untuk cari bangunan yang berbumbungkan minangkabau. Tapi tak jumpa. Pusat Kraf ke Pusat Budaya tah, tapi yang kitorang jumpa hanya satu bangunan putih ni. Wifi zone tuh!

Kitorang benti and park. Jalan kaki, terus pusing satu roundabout ni untuk amik gambar. Rupanya, Perpustakaan Negeri. Hahaha! Masa ni ada dua orang laki, dok sibuk amik gambar. Ko amik gambar aku, aku amik gambar ko. Diri tegak. Agak pelik disitu sebab jarang gile la dua laki nak jalan-jalan amik gambar kat bangunan. Hahaha! Hubby cakap diorang datang dari jauh tu, biar la...

Masa ni aku start message ex-bf aku zaman skolah menengah (ye, aku masih baik ngan ex aku tu, kitorang macam kembar, dia pun dah kawin), tanya dia tau tak Pusat Kraf tu. Dalam dok sms tu kitorang jumpa satu bangunan ni. Punya la sonok, ingat betul dah! Rupanya ni Wisma Negeri. Hahaha!

Patu kitorang naik keta and buat satu lagi pusingan, untuk amik gambar tugu ni. Agak tak paham kenapa depan perpustakaan ada tugu untuk perwira yang telah gugor...mungkin bangunan ni ada sejarahnyer...takut la camni nak masuk library! Hahaha!

Masa pusing lake garden tu nampak satu lagi bangunan yang sama macam perpustakaan tadi. Rupanya ni la Pusat Kraftangan. So mananya Pusat Budaya yang bumbung minangkabau tuuuuuu? Haihhhh...tu la, patut bawak map tadi. Kat New Zealand, bleh jer cari...Seremban pulak yang tak lepas!

Pusing-pusing lagi, asik jumpa bangunan yang sama. Bosan punya pasal, amik je la gambar apa-apa pun. Kedai bata ada la...cantek!

Patu hubby ajak pegi cari TKC. Maklum la, budak STAR kan bermusuh ngan MCKK. MCKK plak girlfriend diorang kebanyakannyer budak TKC. Hahaha! Jumpa la, depan kubur Kristian, dalam hutan. Mesti banyak flasher keliling pagar kan?

Kitorang teruskan misi mencari Rembau. Sebabnya, hubby bayangkan Rembau tu macam satu town yang besar. Tunggu dan lihat je la.

Sekali sampai, ha amik! Besar lagi Tepen! Ok, Tepen besar sangat. Besar lagi Parit Buntar! Masih besar lagi. Ok, besar lagi Bagan Serai! Hahahaha! Masa ni aku suruh hubby benti keta kat tepi lorong, aku jalan kaki, amik gambar batu tanda ni. Betul-betul kat simpang traffic lite. Sume orang tengok aku. Hahaha! Nak je aku cakap, amik gambar untuk kajian tempatan tingkatan 3.

Agak dah puas dengan pekan Rembau yang ada satu dua je pasaraya, kitorang gerak balik ke arah Pedas. Ada nampak satu Wet World kat Air Panas. Nasib baik airnye tak panas. Hahaha.

Awal-awal aku cakap kat hubby, aku nak amik gambar signboard Pedas. Tak kira la camne pun. Dah la gelap, nak amik gambar masa keta tengah bergerak memang kirim salam. So aku suruh hubby patah balik, patu benti kat tepi jalan. Wah! Teringat masa nak amik gambar kambing merino dulu, camtu la kitorang patah balik. Sebab takut bukan nyer nak datang lagi kan, so better amik. Dapat jugak :D Masa ni aku buat cite, camne dapatnya nama Pedas ni. Zaman dulu-dulu, ada orang tengah makan. Patu dia lari kuar kedai, ada plak orang macam Parameswara kat situ, tanya apa nama tempat ni. Yang orang tu tengah terjelir lidah, sambil cakap Pedas! Pedas! Dengan kuasa veto yang orang besar tadi tu ada, dia kasi la nama Pedas...hahaha!

Then balik ke arah Seremban. Nak cari masak lemak cili api memang tak dapek den nak nolong, dah malam. So kitorang benti cari burger jer. Maklum la, siang tadi dah blasah steak, duit pun dah terbako. Kedai cendol Leman Dawi plak tutup.

Misi Rembau berakhir di Nilai, yang mana kitorang nak cari bamboo blind utk pintu tepi. Malas nak tengok jiran sebelah nanti. Hahaha! Tak la, sebab hujan tempias, kena pintu kaca tu, abis rosak kang. So beli la 2 keping 5'X6'. Memang murah. Kat Giant, Tesco, Ikea, kedai hardware, sume lebih RM100 satu, kat sini, dia letak RM200 untuk dua, patu turun RM180. Kedai pun dah nak tutup. Aku layan lentok kat bangla pakistan tu skit, dapat la RM170 untuk dua.

Paling best untuk misi jelajah ni, yang penting, kitorang dah pegi Eiffel Tower. Ko hade? Hahahaha!

And why we chose this restaurant?

For it's wagyu (originated from Kobe) and angus (originated from Scotland) beef. The arranged these beef in chillers, with price tag on it, to ease you to estimate how much you will have to pay. You may also choose how you want it to be cooked. But it will only come with brown sauce.

So, after looking at their prices, I opted for a normal striploin, while hubby settled for ribeye. And we made it both, medium.

The good thing of having steak at this restaurant is they don't put neither salt, m.s.g, nor any preservative cooking oil. (But we do, tasted the saltiness.) And the drinks are free flow! (But the most you can go were two glasses.)

So we cut...chewed...swallowed...and voila! The verdict? F to the a to the bulosity! DELICIOUS! So I will 100% agree and recommend you guys to try.

The only thing that made me uncomfy while eating was, looking at these cows. Man...they are cute...and I'm eating a part of them! (Please take these pics down...)

BTW, Me'nate also provides raw or marinated beef for those who wish to have BBQ at home. Just show them the moneyyyyy :D

I watched Most Extreme Airport in History Channel few days ago and it called me to blog about it. As a travelholic, I always concern on how flight took off and landed. Assuming that all runaways are safe, I still pray to The Almighty to forbid me from any crashes. Amin.

Looking at these extreme airports, I tell myself, what on earth are these people think/thought of. Building a runway near the mountain, cliff, sea, snow?! Though they have thousands of reasons to approve the making, didn't they themselves, freak out? Or they themselves didn't fly...hahaha!

Almost all listed below had crash incidents. Some are already closed but some still operating.

I have no idea why I circled it before! Nak pegi rupanyer...

Well, I was intoxicated by Na. She has successfully injected a "demyuh-must-get-this" poison. And so I "forced" her to buy on behalf, when I was away for lunch at tepi longkang.

At first, hubby didn't quite agree and questioned me what will happen with the big plan. And so I thought, I would rather miss this offer, for I really want to proceed with that one. Dang, kata dua tu. But this one? Pfftt!

I called Na to ~~grow~~ gain back my ~~tanduk~~ esteem and she helped me with dates and ALs. Masa ni nak kunyah ikan bakar pun dah tak lalu. Once finalised, I called hubby and charmed him. (Ada yang kena banjer tiket ni kang...) AND HE AGREED!

Tak sempat tunggu balik office, I said "Na, please buy for me, I pay you cash!" Hahahaha! Sepantas kilat, Na belikan. CEKAP! I lap you lah :)

And so...this year, bertungkus-lumus la cari duit ye...insyaAllahhhhhh, insyaAllahhhhhh, insyaAllahhhhhh, you'll find your ~~way~~ moneyyyyyy heyyyyyyy...

My Cat Has A Hole Next To It's Anus!

Kiki has one small hole next to it's anus and it drains creamy bloody liquid!

Arghhhh! Why Kiki? Whyyyyy? Where did you get this from? I just cleaned your ass two days ago, and today you've got a hole next to it?!

I googled this symptom and it is called Anal Gland (Sac) Disease. A small glands either side of dog/cat/possum/skunk's anus roughly at 4 o'clock or 8 o'clock positions. But it's commonly happen to dogs. They will show scooting behavior (seret bontot atas lantai) due to irritation at the rear end. When the glands full, it burst, and cause an abscess! It just need to be emptied completely (by squeezing it macam picit bisul), and it is best to get the vet to do it, under anesthetic.

Scooting? Ah! No wonder la dia seret bontot sejauh semeter last week! And I thought, it was outrageously funny!

And so I called the vet nearby. (Guess what? Puncak Jalil has it's own e-directory services!)

"Hi, my cat has an issue. Do I need to make an appointment of just walk in?"

"For surgery? What's wrong with it?"

"It seems like my cat has a bloody hole next to it's anus." A very laymen term.

"Oooo...Anal Gland...nevermind, just bring it in tomorrow..." I thought so.

"I did some research on Internet, may I know what caused it?" Testing the vet.

"Another cat must have bit it..." Tetttt!

"...but it's an indoor cat..."

"How many cat do you have?"

"One." *cricket sound*

"Ok, that's new. Bring it in tomorrow."

I didn't stop there. I quickly did some research and found that cat needs to eat fibre, to avoid this from reoccurring. Fibre? (ie: brown rice, melampau tak?) ONLY Royal Canin offers this. Sumpah mahal! But if it is left untreated, it could die! What?! One minute they said it's common and the next minute they threaten me with kill kill die die?

*Sigh*

I love Kiki VERY much coz Kiki is a good cat. Never once, it poops or sprays around. Kiki has been an indoor cat for 4 years, eats ONLY cat biscuits, has no contact with other cats, castrated, and I bathe it, regularly! (Ok, except for deworm la...just once.) And Kiki just a freaky-not-to-obese-lucky domestic cat!

AirAsia X Re-aligns Network To Focus On Core Markets
Developments in Global Economy, Soaring Taxes and Higher Jet Fuel Prices leads long haul low-cost carrier to increase focus on core markets

Kuala Lumpur, 12 January 2012

AirAsia X, the long haul, low fare affiliate of AirAsia, today announced a realignment of its network with a focus on its core markets.

The move will see AirAsia X withdrawing services to India (Mumbai and Delhi) and Europe (Paris, London) from its Kuala Lumpur hub as follows:
•     Mumbai- Four weekly services will be suspended with the last flight on 31 January, 2012
•     New Delhi- Daily services will be suspended with the last flight on 22 March, 2012. Flights in March will be reduced to four weekly services.
•     London- Six weekly services will be suspended with the last flight on 31 March, 2012
•     Paris- Four weekly services will be suspended with the last flight on 30 March, 2012

AirAsia X will offer guests who hold bookings after these dates an alternative travel option at no additional cost to mitigate the inconvenience caused as a result of these route withdrawals.

All affected guests will receive an e-mail stating options that are available to them, including a full refund, a reroute to another AirAsia X destination (e.g, in Australia and North Asia), or a move to an alternative carrier where available.

These changes will improve operating cost efficiencies and consolidate its network to focus on markets where it can build a leadership position in 2012.

Azran Osman-Rani, CEO of AirAsia X said “AirAsia X remains focused on maintaining its global leadership position in the low cost, long-haul segment. We intend to concentrate capacity in our core markets of Australasia, China, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea where we have built up stable, profitable routes within an infrastructure that supports low cost services. We intend to open up new routes within these markets, as well as add frequencies on existing routes. Announcements of our future expansion plans will be made soon.”

“The continued high jet fuel prices and the weakening demand for air travel from Europe, brought about by the current economic situation together with exorbitant government taxes, have placed cost pressures on operating long-haul low cost flights between Asia and Europe, compromising our ability to offer the low fares AirAsia X is known for.”

He adds, “The implementation of the Emissions Trading Scheme and the escalating Air Passenger Duty taxes in UK, which will rise yet again in April 2012 has forced our decision to withdraw our services to Europe.”

“As for Delhi and Mumbai, the continued visa restrictions for travel between India and Malaysia, and the increase in airport and handling charges have resulted in a structure not conducive to the low cost model.”

Azran concluded that, "The airline is hopeful in reinstating services to India once these structural issues can be resolved."

Europe (London and Paris)

AirAsia X started flights to London in March 2009. At that time, oil prices were less than US$40/barrel, and have since tripled. With the Arab Spring unrest of 2011 spilling over to the unrests in Syria and Iranian oil embargo this year, oil prices are expected to remain high and crippling the economics of long-haul flights, where fuel represents over 50% of operating cost.

Moreover, the European situation is also compounded by a very weak economy and depressed consumer demand, which has resulted in a reduction in the number of passengers from Europe on the flights over the past several months. Flights to Europe have also been burdened by exorbitant government taxes such as the UK Air Passenger Duty which will be increased to £92 per departing economy passenger and £184 per departing Premium passenger from 1 April 2012. From 1 January 2012, the European Governments have also imposed an additional carbon tax under their Emissions Trading Scheme, which further adds to an already high cost.

The confluence of macro-factors, including high fuel prices, depressed European economy and exorbitant taxes have made it economically impossible to sustain these flights, despite AirAsia X recording load factors of over 80% for its London and Paris flights in 2011. Attempts to increase fares to reflect the higher operating cost recently have shown the price elasticity of travel, with demand falling down adversely.

India (Mumbai and New Delhi)

AirAsia X launched flights to Mumbai and Delhi in 2010. Structural issues in the Indian aviation market have made it difficult to operate economically viable flights. The airport and handling costs in New Delhi and Mumbai are already more expensive than even airports in Australia, and the authorities have just approved a massive 280% increase in airport fees effective April 2012.

The Indian routes have also been under-pressure when the Malaysian Government removed Visa-on-Arrival facilities in August 2010, soon after the routes were launched. This places Malaysia at a significant disadvantage versus Thailand and Singapore who offer Indian tourists convenient Visa-on-Arrival facilities.

Gua Tempurung : Gua Terpanjang Di Malaysia

2012 ni adalah tahun melawat Perak.

"Perakkkkk darul ridzuannnnn...

“Biqque, you tak buat pape ke balik Ipoh ni?” tanya Na. “Jom gi Kellie’s Castle?” tanya Na lagi.

“Jom! Tapi I dah pegi...kita gi Gua Tempurung nak???” aku mengayat Na. “Boleh gak!”

Selepas berbalas-balas chat, kitorang pun balik la ke Ipoh. Sampai kat rumah mama, aku rasa macam tak sabar sangat nak buat Ekspedisi Gua Tempurung, hari Sabtu tersebut, sampai aku sanggup suh hubby aku tukar plan pi kutip buah kat kebun pada hari Ahad. Nasib la mama dia bleh terima cadangan tu sebab ada cina nak datang betulkan autogate rumah mama dia. Yeahuuu!

Pagi tu aku bangun dan siap pakai lengan panjang turtle neck. Takut kot ada binatang yang menggigit. Sambil pakai baju tu, si John tetiba sms cakap nak lepak minum. Memula aku gelak je la, aku reply, ha datang la.

SEKALI KO, DIORANG DATANG SUNGGUH!

“Biqque, kita jumpa kat hentian Gopeng ok? Kita minum kejap pun takpe, janji dapat bergosip!”

Dengar jer gossip, Kak Ro ape lagi, terus la confirmkan tempat perjumpaan dengan Kak Pojiah.

Sampai kat hentian Gopeng (agak lambat disitu), terus kitorang discuss and decide akan benti kat first kedai makan yang terjumpa. Memula tu tuju ke arah Gua Tempurung, tapi nan hado, hutan kiri kanan. So kitorang u-turn and tuju ke arah Gopeng. Terus benti kat kedai yang pertama skali jumpa, Razak Corner. Belasah!

Masa turun keta, dah siap-siap amik gambar. Masa ni first time jumpa MasMZ dengan Anash (Kak Coco panggilannya). Panas terik masyaAllah toksah cakap, aku dah la pakai baju lengan panjang siap turtle neck! Terus masuk kedai.

Kitorang order air jer. Maka bermulalah sesi bergossip secara rawak. Tengok dalam kedai, punya la banyak barang antik. Beskal buruk pun ada. Terpaksa Kak Ro jadi model bingkai gambar. Hahaha!

Icam, Si Pengembara Tumpangan kembali menjadi topic hangat. Dengar kata siap beli kasut baru nak ke USS. Gigih dia. Takpe, kita masuk Gua Tempurung dulu ok. Sambil dok korek kat mana si John, Janggel, Anash and MasMZ ni nak tido malam tu, kitorang susun sume DSLR kat atas meja. Patu amik gambar guna handphone. Hahaha! Sonok betul!

Dah agak berjam-jam duk kedai tu, empat sekawan tu pun nak gerak menuju ke Penang, dan aku, hubby, Na, Cawan, and Icam, gerak ke Gua Tempurung. Cuaca masih lagi cantek, panas, langit biru, sebijik macam kat NZ. Aku ape lagi, kuarkan kepala kat tingkap, snap, snap, snap!

Jalan masuk ke Gua Tempurung memang lengang gile. Before sampai kat Gua Tempurung, kitorang nampak Extreme Motorsport Park dulu. But again, lengang. Tah hidup tah idak tempat tu.

Dah makin dekat, baru nampak pintu gerbang Gua Tempurung, and batu jemala bentuk gua. Kitorang park betul-betul depan pintu masuk. Kuar je keta, terus nampak beberapa pengunjung ni, basah dan kotor baju diorang.

“HAH SUDAH! KOTOR SAMPAI CAMTU SKALI KE? DAH LA TAKDE BAJU SALIN!”

“Tak kot…itu yang amik package masuk air tu…kita amik yang kering jer…” kata hubby yang tengok bini dia dah tak keruan dengan handbag ditangan. Apakejadahnyer pegi gua bawak handbag! Na pandai, disuruhnya Icam yang bawak.

Melangkah masuk je kat area kaunter tiket, kitorang nampak banner package dengan board harga. Ada dua package kering, dua package basah. Setiap package ada time sendiri, so bleh budget la brapa lama kita akan ada kat dalam gua tu. Masa ni aku tengok guide kebanyakkannya orang tua dalam umur 40an. Ada la budak muda, tapi macam mat rempit je aku tengok.

Na pegi beli tiket, takut aku tersalah beli lagi (kes salah beli tiket kat India). Hahaha! Kitorang pilih package no. dua, namanya Top Of The World (TOW). Harga RM9, siap Cave Ranger, dan tour ni selama sejam empat puluh minit. Jangan harap la korang nak jalan sendiri kat dalam gua ni, diorang tak kasi. So nak tak nak, kena jugak ikut guide.

Sementara tunggu tour start, kitorang lepak-lepak amik gambar je dulu kat area tu. Masa ni sibuk la dok lawan amik gambar ulat bulu. Hahaha! Dua bijik DSLR tak leh nak dapat sedekat yang boleh, camera aku jugak yang boleh. TAPIIIIIII aku baru dapat tau yang micro button aku rosak! ARGHHH!

“Can I and my family follow your group ar?” tetiba ada sorang cina laki bini dengan dua anak, approached kitorang. Nak tau sebab apa? Sebab tour takkan jalan kalo tak cukup 5 orang dewasa. Kitorang je dah berempat. Malas la nak kena jalan ngan family-family ni. Kang anak dia meragam plak. So kitorang cam buat dek jer la, cakap kitorang dah cukup korum.

Amik ko, ingat jalan berempat jer, skali ramai. Hahaha! Tu la, dengki lagi. Ranger tu bawak sekali masuk ada la lebih 10 orang. So kitorang terus tukar Plan B, jalan last skali, senang nak amik gambar. Kat mulut gua jer dah start amik gambar. Icam cakap, aku tahan perut.

Tapi kat dalam gua, aku langsung tak tahan perut dah. Ok. Sungguh tak sangka ye. Jalan dalam gua ni sangatlah elok. Diorang siap buat laluan yang ada tangga dan railing kiri kanan. So kita takkan jatuh kecuali mabuk. Lampu pun ada, cuma agak samar, compared to gua yang aku masuk kat Vietnam.

Tetiba guide tadi bersuara, cerita segala perihal Gua Tempurung ni. Sambil tu, kat kawasan bawah laluan ni, ada sekumpulan manusia yang tengah syok bermandi-manda kat sungai dalam gua tu.

“Ok, kalau amik package yang basah, korang akan lalu di laluan air ni.” Katanya. Patu dia cite la dari mana air tu datang and such.

Patu kitorang teruskan lagi perjalanan. Masa ni aku dah agak iritating dengan tiga pompuan yang asik la dok menyampuk cakap guide tu. Takpe, kang aku cite part mana paling kampung!

Lepas turun naik turun naik tangga, kitorang sampai kat satu tempat ni, dimana guide tu tanya “Penah tengok Monalisa?” Aku tunggu je apa minah-minah tu nak menjawab. Walhal, yang lain ni, family cina tadi, couple tua melayu, couple india, dengan kitorang, sume jenis yang tanya pasal sejarah and facts tau. Kira macam berminat la and tak mempermainkan guide tu.

“Ni Monalisa.” Allah mak, terkujat aku. Tergelak semua orang. Memula tengok ok la, lama-lama scary plak rasanya.

Tak sampai brapa meter, guide tu cakap lagi “Ok, cuba tengok sini.” Semua pandang ke dinding. Maklum la takde torchlight, terpaksa la ikut lampu mana-mana yang orang tunjuk.

“Seperti seorang perempuan yang mencangkung yang tengah basuh rambutnya. Tu peha dia, dan blakang badan dia.” Hmm...bulat jugak bontotnyer. Ok, lagi scary. Aku cuba untuk tak tengok tempat-tempat lain yang gelap. Straight jer aku jalan naik tangga.

LETIH OK! Sebab sampai satu tahap ni guide tu kata sila jalan berdua kot-kot kang terjatuh sebab kat kawasan tu, suatu ketika dulu gunung berapi. So tarikan graviti dia agak kuat dan setiap berat manusia akan naik 10kg. Aku rasa logiknyer cuma bila ko naik tangga yang menegak, memang la ko akan rasa berat kan.

Tapi memang jadi pun. Ada sorang budak kecik ni, gemuk tau. Nenek dia siap cakap kat guide tu “Dia tak larat la tu, badannya gemuk. Nak pitam. Dah, tak payah naik.” Sia-sia jer nenek dia belanja masuk gua, kena patah balik. Hehehe!

Kat bahagian atas ni, guide tu tunjuk satu benda kelakar. “Ok, penah tengok monyet bawak keta? Tengok ni. Dia pegang stereng. Ada spare tayar kat blakang. Pajero barangkali.” Hahaha! Semua orang bantai gelak!

Sepanjang perjalanan dalam gua ni, guide tu cite la pasal stalagmite and stalagtite yang mana masih hidup, yang mana dah mati, what if like this, what if like that, yang mana kristal, yang mana jade, yang mana batu kapur, yang mana marmar, yang mana tanah gunung berapi, yang mana tasik, yang mana bleh pegang, yang mana tak leh pegang. Sekecik-kecik titisan air yang baru nak membentuk tu pun, makan masa 10 tahun. Sian gile.

At the same time, dia cite jugak camne dinding gua tu terbentuk. Ada yang dibuat oleh angin, ada yang dibuat oleh air. Yang dibuat oleh air, lebih cantik, compared to angin, sebab laluan air lebih smooth dan air lebih tumpat. Kalo angin, sukati dia jer la nak melilau.

“Huih, kat sini sejuk! Terasa angin dia!” Tetiba semua orang suka sebab dapat mengepak-ngepakkan ketiak sebab peluh.

“Kat sini la tempat angin bertembung dan angin tu tak boleh kemana. So dia berpusing-pusing kat tempat ni saja. Tempat lain takkan terasa angin ni. Walaupun jalan skit keluar, dah takde angin tu.” Agreed. Memang sepanjang masuk tadi, skit angin pun tak terasa.

“Kat belah kiri ni, anda dibenarkan untuk keluar dari laluan. Cuba pijak. Tanah disini lebih keras.” Kitorang pun try la pijak. Berani skit-skit je la.

“Dan kalau ada yang nak cuba masuk ke dalam lubang ni, bleh masuk. Bleh berdiri lagi kat dalam tu.” Aku pun gigih la masuk, walhal gelap! Jangan la ada binatang ke hape! Budak cina dua orang tu pun teringin nak masuk. Diorang ada torchlight, ok la.

“Kat sebelah kanan pulak, ada laluan air. Jauh dan dalam jugak la lubang tu.” This time, hubby plak try. Minah-minah kepoh tu pun turun. Masa ni diorang ada la buat lawak bodo, aku malas nak amik pot.

“Kat atas tu ada kubur cina, pelombong-pelombong timah yang tak sempat keluar dari sini.” Tetiba sunyi sepi suram muram je suasana.

TETIBA ADA SORANG PEREMPUAN RAMBUT KEMBANG MUKA MASAM PAKAI SELUAR PENDEK PUTIH DIRI TEGAK LAST SKALI KAT BLAKANG GROUP KITORANG! SUMPAH MASA NI AKU DAH BERDERAU DARAH!

Rupanya maid sape tah. Siut tul!

Sampai kat satu area ni, sape yang amik package satu, kena patah balik. Yang amik package TOW teruskan perjalanan. Memang best kat bahagian atas ni sebab kitorang dah sampai ke puncak dalam gua yang mana kitorang bleh pegang bumbung gua. Hebat bukan? Hahaha! Tapi bumbung gua ni sejuk, sebab ada air dalam dia. Patu bila pegang, ada cam pasir-pasir halus. Sebutir SEBUTIR PASIRnya ye. Huih, kalo pecah ni, memang bertasik la dalam gua tu. Scary

“Kat sini ada Osama. Kenal?” Semua jawab kenal tapi dah gelak-gelak la sebab mesti benda kelakar. “Tu.” Hahaha! Kan dah cakap, mesti kelakar. “Siap serban dengan janggut!”

Kat hujung ni kitorang benti untuk tengok jurang bawah yang mana kalo amik package tiga dan empat, akan turun kot situ, terus masuk ke kawasan air bawah gua. Masa ni minah-minah kepoh tu start buat lawak bodo. “Eiii jauhnyer, macam kita balik kampung!” KUAT OK DIA CAKAP! Aku tahan lagi.

Patu guide tu tanya “Kenal Casper?” Aku jawab kenal! Saje je kuat-kuat sebab minah-minah kampung tu diam. “Tu dia.” Memang bentuk hantu ko! Menakutkan jer! Hahaha!

Tak abis takut lagi, dia tunjuk plak sepasang tangan yang keluar dari bumbung gua. Cis! Scary! Dia kata ada macam-macam versi cite, tapi aku abaikan jer.

“Ok, sampai sini saja tour TOW. Anda telah mendaki 620 anak tangga dia dalam gua yang terpanjang di Malaysia. Skarang kita kena berpatah balik.” Kata guide. Semua orang tepuk tangan. Seperti yang disangka, minah kampung tu cakap “Kami tanak balik lah. Nak duduk sini. Esok datang la amik kami.” Gedik! Aku terus cakap kat guide tu “WHATEVER!” Tapi guide tu still berprasangka baik, dia jawab tak bleh, gua tutup, kita kena balik. Baik sungguh budi pekerti.

On the way balik, guide tu jalan sama ngan kitorang. Masa ni kitorang ada banyak peluang untuk kongsi info pasal Gua Tempurung. Dia kata dulu gua ni sarang komunis. Rashid Maidin ketuanya. Diorang menyorok dan meratakan kawasan ni, siap lukis plan camne nak bunuh Sir Henry Gurney. Patu dia tunjuk la dinding gua yang ada contengan tulisan cina, siap lukisan keta British dan waktu serangan. Cantek keta!

Tapi ada la jugak part-part yang dah di vandalised. Bodo piang! Tak couple bercinta, budak-budak bangang. Tu je. Ingat senang ke gua tu nak terbentuk! Eiii…kalo aku dapat, aku conteng-conteng balik muka diorang!

Tetiba guide tu tanya family cina tadi “You pandai baca tulisan cina lama?” “Boleh.” Guide tu terus cakap kata ni special untuk kitorang je, sebab sepatutnya tak boleh bawak orang keluar dari laluan tu. Dia bawak cina tu and suluh ke dinding. Dalam 5 minit, diorang datang balik. Katanya lagu komunis, siap ada bagitau pasal bunga api, warna merah, yang dikaitkan dengan tentera jepun. Patu ada jugak yang cakap macam abang datang sini la bila kan pulang la, camtu la. Hahaha! Kalo bukan komunis yang tulis, marah aku!

Masa balik, kubur yang memula kitorang nampak tadi tu rupanya ada laluan lain untuk naik ke situ, tapi takpe la, kim salam jer. Tugu je pun. Sampai kat luar, kitorang dok berterima kasih kat guide kitorang. Bertuah sungguh dapat dia sebab sepatutnya dia ni bawak pelancong asing jer (no wonder dia ada cakap English skit-skit) tapi dia just tolong sebab tak cukup orang, ye la, cuti skolah kan. Dia pun tak sia-sia la naik turun kuar masuk gua 5 kali sehari, kasi info, sebab dapat pelancong macam kitorang.

I ALMOST DIED JUST NOW!

I went back and tried to access my blog. And it said,

"We've detected unusual activity on your account.

To immediately restore access to your account,

choose how to verify your account."

It also told me that I have no admin rights to modify my blog! And I saw nothing on my dashboard!

I WAS...STUNNED!

In 5 minutes, MY BLOG HAS BEEN REMOVED!

I ALMOST CRIED!

I forced hubby to view my blog on his lappy. The answer still the same.

"Luckily you have your blog being archived." Said hubby.

"WHAT? I HAVE 2 BLOGS WITH 700+ POSTS WITH LINKS, FOLLOWERS, YOU CAN'T EXPECT ME TO RE-DO ALL OVER AGAIN!" I shouted. At this moment, I had LOTS of things in my mind! Friends would think that I gone crazy, readers would think that I left the blogging world, this and that! Shiat! THIS IS MY LIFE ANYWAY!

I quickly tried to access my GMail and it asked me to get a verification code via handphone.

I searched few forums and since Google Admin stated that the method is legit, I followed the step by resetting the password to my other account, that is Yahoo. Once I received the link, it still request to key in the verification code, that was supposed to be sent via handphone!

Dang! Something that phisher can do! Why would Google ask for handphone no.? I had no choice but to proceed with the suggestion. I entered my handphone number and waited. No text message! I re-do twice, but still no text message!

"Owh...stupid...I have to put 6 at the front!" And this time I chose voice message instead of text message.

In 2 seconds, Google voicemail called me and gave the verification code. I entered the code and VOILA!!! I managed to get back my account! Followed by the same code via text message, that was done earlier.

I then started to discuss with hubby...remember when GMail keep on asking our handhphone for easy validation? And we skipped it! This is how Google Team "enforced" the policy. So whoever hasn't done it, it's your choice.

I did...when I almost died. How bout you guys?

"Umbai la kot..."

Kitorang pun setuju je. Malas nak cari jauh-jauh. Lagipun penah makan dah kat situ.

Kitorang pun parking kat bawah pokok. Bunyi kicauan burung je dah dapat agak, kompom la ada aksi tembak-menembak peluru putih kat atas keta kang. Tapi dah itu je yang ada. Betul-betul depan surau, senang nak solat mintak doa kat Allah jangan la teruk sangat burung tu melepas secara jemaah.

Lepas solat, Pak Ein dah sibuk suh jalan dulu, riki kedai mana yang best. Aku dah malas dah, masa ni aku cakap, makan je kat kedai no. 1 ni, sebab penah dah try. AKU ULANG, KEDAI NO. 1 YE. KARANG KORANG TAU LA KENAPA AKU ULANG. Lagipun sama jer sume tempat.

Kitorang pun duduk la kat meja panjang ni. Si Sami sejak dari mula dah terbongkang atas meja. Tak pedulik dah apa orang nak kata. Aku, Kak Ngah, Abang Mus, ngan Skin pi pilih ikan, sotong, udang. Baru la nampak yang ikan pari dia tak banyak, tinggal satu je. Cis! Nyesal plak tak jalan dulu tadi. Tapi takpe, kitorang order yang lain. Aku share jer ngan Kak Ngah. So, dapat la tiga keping kertas order.

Sedang enak berbual sambil layan patung Spiderman yang muka tak sudah tu, dalam tak sedar, air tak sampai. Nasik lemak pun dah abis atas meja. Otak-otak plak langsung tak datang menghulur. Haiiiii...apa cer ni!

Kitorang panggil berkali-kali jugak la si pelayan yang silih berganti jalan menonong jer konon ingat la order kita, tapi akhirnya nan hado! Apa lagi, Kak Ro terus bangun, PI KUTIP NASIK LEMAK KAT MEJA LAIN! Haaaa puas hati aku! Sambil buat muka celaka abis dah ni! Patu aku sound budak yang bakar otak-otak tu, suh hantar kat meja aku. Walhal tepi tu jer!

Makin lama makin menjadi. Aku rasa korang pun dah baca kat blog Skin akan kecelakaan yang menimpa dirinya. Masa ni aku dah bangun la sebab order yang sampai, tak menepati permintaan. Lagi teruk, ada yang tak sampai!

Aku terus gi kat kaunter sambil tunjuk satu, satu, "NI, NI, TAK SAMPAI LAGI. DAH LAMA DAH. YANG SAMPAI SEMUA SALAH. APA NI?" Terkebil-kebil la budak kaunter tu dengan muka cam haram jadu! Si pelayan tu dok kata betul, betul, sambil dok tunjuk kat mamat yang amik ikan kitorang awal-awal tadi. Korang tau dia kata apa? "Ooooo...patut la...order lain, lain...len kali duk jauh-jauh skit..."

"HAMBOIH! DAH KITORANG SATU FAMILY, APE HAL NAK DUK ASING-ASING?! KORANG NAK SALAHKAN CUSTOMER KE??? CAMTU???"

SUMPAH AKU CAKAP KUAT GILE SEBAB AKU MARAH SANGAT! BODO PIANG! LAYAN CUSTOMER TAK PAKAI OTAK! MAKA DENGAN INI AKU NAK GUNAKAN KUASA BLOG ALAM MAYA NI, SILA JANGAN PEGI KEDAI IKAN BAKAR NO. 1 YE!

J.A.N.G.A.N!

Dengan suasana yang agak tegang, kitorang bayar and blah dari situ. Cari belacan. Hahaha! Bleh? Siap komplen nak cari yang murah gile. Beli 3, tapi sume lupa nak bawak balik. Ada dalam peti es aku ni ha...

Seperti yang dijanjikan, kitorang pegi jugak la town malam tu. Nak jalan jugak tepi sungai tu. Masa ni dah nak agak jem, so kitorang parking tepi lorong. Ada la apek tua ni jaga parking, mintak duit. Aku tak bayar pun, laki Skin yang bayarkan. Mekasih :D

Then kitorang jalan-jalan la kat Stadthuys tu. Ada la ayor pancut lampu ijo. Walaupun terpercik-percik ayor nyer, family Pak Ein gagah jugak amik gambor...

Patu kitorang teruskan perjalanan kekakian ke kincir angin tadi. Still tak bergerak, so amik gambar je la. Cantik rupanya di malam hari. Sonok anak sedara aku sorang tu, dok layan DSLR baru dia...sampai abis battery!

Kat tengah jalan, ada satu roundabout kecik. Ada kancil batu sekor kat situ. Masa ni keta dah banyak tapi aku layankan je la bebudak ni nak bergambar.

Abang-abang beca masa ni dah mula menjaja beca lip-lap diorang, siap pasang lagu dun-cit-dun-cit boom box kalah keta kat Stadium Shah Alam ngan Taman Tasik Tepen. Ada yang pasang lagu Hindi, ada yang pasang lagu Dangdut, tak lupa jugak ada yang pasang lagu Disko. HOI! MANA LAGU DONGDANG SAYANG?! Sungguh tak mencerminkan Melaka. Hahaha!

Dari jauh nampak la Menara Taming Sari, tapi tak naik sebab nak bayo untuk satu kampung memang tak daya. Lagipun Cik Ro dah naik kat Sentosa Island, udah le. (Ewah, kat negara orang, naik! Kat negara sendri? Hmmm...)

Patu Pak Ein tak abih-abih la nak pegi jugak tengok kapal besar atas darat tu! Muzium Samudera namanya. Walhal dia pegi ada la berjuta kali kot! Haih...nak bawak cucu merasa katanya...tapi tak masuk pun, sekadar amik gambar jer. Dia tau, anak cucu dia sume gile gambar. DIA PUN SIBUK LA SUH REPAIR CAMERA DIAAAAAAAA...

Kat depan Muzium Samudera tu ada pasar malam. Barang ada yang murah, ada yang mahal. Kitorang tak beli apa pun. Ada gak cite menarik kat blog Skin pasal peniaga kat tempat ni.

Agak semua dah ngantuk tak larat, kitorang jalan balik ke keta. Masa ni baru la nampak segala tembakan burung-burung kat kedai makan tadi. Tak yah susah-susah beli sticker. (Ingat tak dulu-dulu, sibuk orang tampal sticker splash air/taik burung tu? Hahaha!)

On the way balik, sempat benti kejap kat tepi jalan, beli hasil Melaka. Tanpa berpikir panjang, aku cakap kat Skin "Eh, kita beli la kudap-kudap untuk lepak hujung minggu ni ngan bebudak Travelholic!"

LAKU ABIS DODOL MELAKA TU YEEEEE HAHAHA! BABAI MELAKAAAAAAAA :D
